Hugs

A warm embrace from a friend or family member can add loads of emotional fortitude to my soul. I am amazed at how easily a quick embrace and a few mumbled words positively affect me.
It is precisely because of this that I set out to hug those around me. It is an expression of wishing you well, of warm genuine feelings toward you, and an intentional positive energy exchange - it is love. Not that misguided self-indulgent and selfish - take from want something from you stuff. No, I am just giving you emotional genuine and warm personal support freely because I want to and I because I like you. Sometimes I hug because Jesus loves you, but always because I want to.
Do you know the guidelines for hugs? I found these on a website earlier.
Guidelines for Hugging
Be compassionate, not passionate -- communicate comfort and caring.
Ask for permission -- hugging requires a sender and receiver.
Accepting that hugging isn't for everyone is simply another form of understanding and acceptance.
Ask permission when you need a hug.
Hugging for wellness is a practice of sharing -- if you need a hug simply ask for one.
And if you receive a hug, let the sender know you are appreciative.
Take responsibility for expressing what you need.

I like it!
Just ask me and collect your hug. I believe the more hugs we receive in a day the stronger we are emotionally. If I could collect around 12 hugs a day and give away around 24 each day - wow that would change me! Wouldn't it change you?
I challenge you to hug often.
